Ochsner Health in Slidell, LA, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specializing in computed tomography. You will assess patients and safely perform CT procedures, mentor junior staff, and support departmental operations.

The role requires CT certification or registry eligibility, ARRT CT registration, and a radiologic technology program completion. The position offers night shifts (Mon-Thu 8:30pm–7am, 4 10s) with no weekends or on-call requirements, and a sign-on bonus up to $30,000 for

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT registry or CT certification or registry-eligible within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Verifies physician order and procedure accuracy.
• Uses radiology information systems to facilitate care.
• Explains procedure to patient to ensure understanding.
• Operates imaging equipment to complete procedures per protocol.
• Reviews images for diagnostic quality.
• Performs quality control and regulatory duties.
• Assists in departmental operations (inventory, scheduling, maintenance).
• Adapts to patient populations and maintains privacy and communication standards.
• Performs other related duties as required.
