Job summary

Adventist Health is seeking a CT Technologist for a position in South El Monte, California. The role involves operating CT equipment and performing related imaging procedures including radiography and fluoroscopy.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification as RT(R)(CT) or RT(R) is required.
• CA state radiologic license is required.
• Advanced CT certification: required in OR and HI; CA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification required in CA if administering contrast materials.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information; ensures patient data privacy under HIPAA and related regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
