Qualifications

• CT technologist; knowledge of CT procedures and scanners.
• Familiarity with PACS, EMR, and Radiology information workflows.
• Able to read and follow department protocols and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Practices infection control standards and uses PPE for CT exams.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Educates patients about exams and completes studies efficiently.
• Operates CT equipment safely and optimizes image quality.
• Reviews history to confirm exam appropriateness and contraindications.
• Prepares IV contrast safely and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Positions patients and maintains ALARA principles.
• Collaborates with radiologists to ensure imaging quality and continuity.
