Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT exams, ensure patient comfort, and maintain image quality. Responsibilities include assisting radiologists during procedures, venipuncture for contrast, and operating contrast injectors.

On-call and shift flexibility may apply to nights. Qualified candidates must hold California licensure in Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification (CT preferred), BLS, and IV certification, plus one year CT experience and basic computer

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year CT experience.
• California licensure in Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy required; ARRT certification within 6 months (CT preferred).
• BLS certification required; IV certification required.
• Basic computer skills requested.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanner and maintains high image quality.
• Assists Radiologist during invasive procedures.
• Performs venipuncture for contrast administration under supervision.
• Operates automatic contrast injector; selects flow rates and volumes.
• Maintains clean, orderly work area and reports equipment issues.
• Enter all required notes into PACS; ensure images and notes are complete before interpretation.
• Notify radiologist of STAT readings and coordinate with teleradiology.
