Job Summary and Qualifications

Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:30pm-8:00am

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation, adhering to professional and departmental standards. You will produce high-quality CT images for diagnosis and treatment, working within a supportive team that values patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting and positioning patients on the CT table with compassion.
• Starting IVs for contrast when necessary.
• Assessing image quality and making adjustments as needed.
• Providing post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Preparing and sterilizing the room and equipment between patients.
• Following radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered CT Technician (must be obtained within 1 year of employment).
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (must be obtained within 1 year).
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience and additional CT training preferred.
• On-call availability with ability to report within 30 minutes.
