Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Novi, MI seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform multimodality imaging, including CT and general X-ray, on a night-shift schedule.

You will position patients, set technical parameters, ensure high-quality images, apply safety standards, and assist with contrast procedures.

This full-time position offers up to a $7,500 sign-on bonus and requires BLS and ARRT/CCI credentials; growth opportunities within Henry Ford Health.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience, or an Associate's/Technical degree.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association prior to hire.
• ARRT Radiography or CCI Cardiographic Tech credential required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic procedures and multimodality imaging including CT and X-ray.
• Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Implements radiation protection and safety standards in all procedures.
• Prepares, performs and assists with contrast media under supervision.

Up to $7,500 Sign-On Bonus

Shift: Nights, FT 40 hours per week, either five eight hour shifts (10:30pm-7am) or four 10 hour shifts (9pm-7:30) .

This is a multimodality position and will include both CT and general X-Ray scanning.

Performs a variety of radiographic procedures used in the diagnostic treatment of illness and injuries. Responsibilities: Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.| Implements radiation protection and safety standards.| Prepares, performs and assists the physician in special and advanced procedures.| Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.| Helps position patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.| Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.| Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).| Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA. -
• One or more of the following required: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
