Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan, NY is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging across patients of all ages, operating scanners and related equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and CT.
• New York DOH Diagnostic Radiography license and IV certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures on patients of all age groups with minimal supervision.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams.
• Administer contrast media (IV and/or oral) following established protocols.
• Perform imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and quality standards.
• Accurately enter documentation into all MSK and Radiology systems.
• Support general radiology procedures as needed.

Seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology team at MSK’s Main Hospital Campus in Manhattan.

Role Overview:

• Perform a variety of CT imaging procedures on patients of all age groups with minimal supervision.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and monitor patient safety and comfort throughout exams.
• Administer contrast media (IV and/or oral) following established protocols.
• Perform imaging in accordance with departmental protocols and quality standards.
• Accurately enter documentation into all MSK and Radiology systems.
• Support general radiology procedures as needed.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree / Certified Vocational Training or graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience preferred, including experience with GE and Siemens imaging systems.
• New York Department of Health License in Diagnostic Radiography.
• IV Certification required.
