Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a Lead Technologist for the CT Scan department. The role involves ensuring efficient patient flow, performing quality assurance tests, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Candidates must possess a Florida license and have at least two years of CT experience, along with strong communication skills.

Two (2) Years of College
The Lead Technologist assists in the daily operation of the CT Scan department, ensures prompt and efficient flow of patients through the department, and coordinates testing procedures with other modalities.
Performs quality assurance tests, monitors the overall quality of exams, maintains accurate records of technical staff licensure, manages logs for equipment maintenance, and schedules service when necessary.
Assists with maintaining quality control standards and performs management duties such as developing schedules, maintaining productivity, and ensuring service excellence.
Demonstrates flexibility, proficiency in resolving customer problems, maintains inventory, and performs all CT procedures including abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, extremities, and interventional procedures.
Knowledge of advanced computer applications, human anatomy & pathology, and working with systems like PACS and Cerner is required.
Works with Operations Managers to ensure compliance with ACR and regulatory standards and performs other duties as assigned.
Physical demands include stooping, sitting, standing, walking, assisting with lifting patients and heavy equipment, and working in stressful environments. Must be able to push/pull up to 40lbs, carry and lift up to 50lbs.
Annual mandatory education, TB/PPD surveillance, maintenance of licenses/certifications, and participation in required programs are required yearly.
