The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Poinciana ER

The role you’ll contribute:

Under general supervision, responsible for managing daily operations in the CT area to ensure smooth flow, including maintenance of supplies within budget. Performs neuro and body scans, complex 3D and CTA studies, and QA audits. Maintains records, assists radiologists with special procedures, and acts as a lead technologist, coordinating schedules, maintaining QI/QC, and equipment. Establishes professional relationships with physicians and hospital staff, ensuring service quality and customer satisfaction. Performs routine exams and provides supervision, leadership, and support to staff, ensuring standards of practice and compliance with regulations.

• Performs exams on all patient types following protocols, educates patients, screens for allergies, starts IVs, performs advanced studies, and supervises exam administration.
• Completes exams efficiently, manages workflow, orders supplies, and communicates with patients and staff.
• Operates CT equipment safely, adapts protocols, and serves as a clinical instructor.
• Ensures safety by screening patients, minimizing radiation exposure, maintaining cleanliness, practicing infection control, and handling pharmaceutical waste properly.
