Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is looking for a CT Technologist in Chandler, Arizona. In this role, you will utilize your diagnostic imaging expertise to capture high-quality CT images, facilitating accurate diagnoses. Your interaction with patients is critical to ensure a positive imaging experience.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in CT imaging, hold necessary certifications, and demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient care. The pay range is competitive at $43.10 - $64.11 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years CT technical experience with demonstrated excellence.
• Must hold American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans based on protocols and radiologist recommendations.
• Assist interventional radiologist during CT guidance procedures.
• Manage or evaluate protocols based on areas of interest and types of scans.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our CT Technologist, you will utilize your expertise to capture precise diagnostic images, enabling our Radiologists to accurately diagnose and/or rule out diverse medical conditions. You will adeptly create detailed cross‑sectional images of the skeleton, tissues, and internal organs. Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.

To be successful, you will have a deep understanding of diagnostic imaging, including general imaging workflow, patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.

• Perform CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Interventional Procedures.
• Assist interventional radiologist during CT guidance procedures.
• Accurately perform work‑ups such as perfusions & reconstructions.
• Manage or evaluate protocols by determining area of interest and type of scan, consulting physicians as necessary.
• Act as a resource and role model for students, externs, and new staff.
• Display thorough knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and positioning as it relates to performance of CT scan procedures.

Job Requirements

• Graduate from an AMA‑approved school of radiologic technology and have a minimum of five (5) years CT technical experience with demonstrated excellence in all aspects of CT.
• Medical Radiographer: AZ.
• Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT.
• Registered Technologist Computed Tomography.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.

Pay Range

$43.10 - $64.11 per hour.
