Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Registered CT Scan Technologist to perform CT examinations and assist Radiologists during invasive procedures. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, patient safety, and effective communication of findings.

You will maintain RIS/HIS workflow, inject contrast as required, and contribute to quality care and patient education. Candidates should have ARRT recognition, CT registry within 1 year, and NJDEP/ARRT or PA equivalent licensure as applicable,

Qualifications

• Graduate from ARRT-recognized program or ARRT registered; CT registry required within 1 year.
• NJ candidate: ARRT-recognized School of Radiologic Technology; A.A.S. degree preferred; 1+ year CT experience preferred; NJDEP license & ARRT registry required.
• Current BLS certification within three months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and perform CT exams as directed.
• Communicate clinical observations to Radiologist; present clinical history as recorded.
• Maintain competence in RIS/HIS modules.
• Inject contrast per department policy with patient questionnaire completed.
• Perform 3-D imaging functions.
• Provide educational information to patient about examination.
• Maintain professional development via in-services/continuing education.
• Ensure accurate PACS data and correct patient selection in worklist.
• Contribute to department to achieve Press Ganey score; ensure patient education.
• Annual peer review of images per department standards.
