Job summary

MedStar Health seeks a CT Technologist to assist radiologists with imaging procedures including contrast administration. The role requires evaluating scans, labeling images, and ensuring proper PACS transmission while maintaining patient records and coordinating interventional CT workflows.

Educational prerequisites include a high school diploma or GED and Maryland state licensure where applicable. ARRT and CT certifications, plus CPR within 90 days, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Maryland State License required (Clinton Location ONLY).
• ARRT certification required.
• Certified CT technologist certification required.
• CPR (AHA/Red Cross) within 90 days required.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiologist with CT imaging procedures and contrast administration.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and label images for PACS transfer.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage scheduling/patient flow for interventional CT scanners.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Participate in training of department personnel and research initiatives.
