Job summary

Baptist Health seeks an Internal Traveler CT Technologist for our Float Pool in Jacksonville. This 12-week contract offers premium pay and potential renewals for up to two contracts. It is a PRN Night shift supporting multiple Baptist Health campuses, with duties across the system.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years CT experience in a hospital setting, ARRT CT, ARRT Radiography, CRT, and BLS certification. Position requires flexibility to work across campuses and meet staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT procedures per protocols and safety standards.
• Provide imaging support across up to three Baptist Health campuses based on needs.
• Promote goodwill and maintain a professional, comforting demeanor with patients.
• Maintain compliance with mandatory education, credentialing, and health requirements.
• Identify, prepare, administer, and document medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Adapt to different departments and workflows while delivering consistent patient care.

Baptist Health is looking to add an Internal Traveler CT Technologist to our Float Pool at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville! This position is part of our internal traveler program which is a 12-week contract with premium pay. This position is eligible to renew their contract after 12 weeks for up to two contracts in total. This is a PRN Night shift opportunity supporting multiple Baptist Health campuses. The Float Internal Traveler CT Technologist will be part of Baptist Health’s dynamic Float Team, providing critical imaging support across the system. This role is ideal for an experienced CT Technologist who enjoys variety, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with different teams and patient populations. Candidates must be comfortable working at up to three Baptist Health campuses based on staffing and departmental needs.

• Maintaining compliance with all mandatory education, credentialing, and health requirements.
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner and in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policies
• Adapting to different departments, workflows, and teams while providing consistent, high-quality patient care

Experience Requirements

• 2-3 years of CT Experience Required
• Experience working in a CT/Cat Scan Department
• Hospital-based Imaging Experience
• Strong customer service and patient-care Experience
• Ability and willingness to work across multiple Baptist Health campuses

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Registered Technologist in Computer Tomography ARRT (CT) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
