Qualifications

  • Active primary Radiography registry through the ARRT(R) or NMTCB is necessary.

Job description

Performs duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology not limited to arteriogram, computerized tomography, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required; graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Active primary Radiography registry through the ARRT(R) or NMTCB and actively working to achieve the primary ARRT(R) (CT) or NMTCB (CT) registry status within twelve months of hire.
  • Required completion of three month training course and clinical hours provided by Baptist Health.
  • Must possess reasoning and good independent judgment.
  • Must have the ability to work within rigid time constraints.
  • Must be aware of patient conditions at all times.
  • Must demonstrate effective communication skills.

AART Computed Tomography (CT) or NMTCB Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
