Job summary

Jefferson Radiology, the largest radiology practice in Connecticut, is seeking a patient-focused CAT Scan Technologist to join our growing team.

The Technologist produces and evaluates CAT scan images, operates RIS/PACS, reviews requisitions, interviews patients, prepares them, and administers oral and IV contrast. Required: CT license, CT certification, ARRT, CPR (BLS), and 2+ years CT experience with venipuncture.

Qualifications

• Connecticut State Radiologic License required.
• CT certification required.
• ARRT Certification required.
• CPR (BLS) certification required.
• 2+ years of CT scanning experience required.
• Advanced venipuncture proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and evaluate CAT scan diagnostic images as ordered by the referring physician.
• Operate CAT Scan equipment and RIS/PACS with proficiency.
• Review requisitions to determine proper study; interview patients for medical history; prepare patients for exams; administer oral and IV contrast.
