Job summary

IU Health Fishers Hospital is seeking a full-time CT Technologist to operate the CT scanner, prepare and position patients, and ensure safe scanning with contrast administration. The role requires five 8-hour night shifts 7:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., Monday to Friday, with call and holiday rotation as needed.

You will collaborate with radiologists and stay current with CE and safety protocols. Responsibilities include performing QC, documenting in EMR, and assisting with minimally invasive procedures

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of CT experience.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Ability to position patients and maneuver equipment as needed.
• Active ARRT or NMTCB certification; CT cert within 12 months.
• Indiana ISDH license as Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• May require additional modality certifications if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and prepare/position patients for imaging.
• Screen for safe scanning and administer contrast as required.
• Adjust scan parameters and ensure diagnostic image quality.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians; document in EMR.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and perform routine QC.
• Assist with minimally invasive procedures and respond to medical alerts.

Education

ARRT Certification (RT(R) or NM, or CNMT)

AHA BLS Certification

ISDH Radiologic/Nuclear Medicine License

CT Certification within 12 months of hire
