Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross‑sectional images to aid diagnosis. You will prepare patients, position them for scans, and follow physician instructions for contrast materials and protocols.

Qualified graduates from AMA-approved Radiologic Technology programs with BCLS within 30 days and CT experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT certification (preferred).
• CT experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and produce cross‑sectional images used for diagnosis.
• Prepare patients and position them to capture optimal CT images as directed by physicians.
• Interpret a physician’s scanning instructions and follow protocol for contrast administration.
• Assist radiologists with medication and contrast administration, biopsies, and patient care.
• Prepare examination rooms, monitor supplies, and maintain room cleanliness during CT procedures.
