Job summary

Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is hiring a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment and produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. You will prepare patients, position them correctly, and ensure optimal image quality as requested by the physician.

Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology is required, with Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start. ARRT-CT certification is preferred and CT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-CT certification preferred.
• CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Prepare patients for procedures and position for optimal imaging.
• Administer contrast materials and interpret scanning instructions.
• Assist radiologists during procedures and monitor patient during imaging.
