Job summary

Mayo Clinic in La Crosse, WI seeks a Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to produce high-quality images for physician interpretation across the Radiology Departments. The role requires ARRT credentials, state licensure where required, and flexibility for varied shifts and on-call pager duties.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited radiography program, strong communication skills, and may have CT experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Organized, efficient and multifunctional.
• Ability to work independently.
• Requires excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrates effective communication.
• Ability to work varied hours, shift lengths and respond to an on-call pager which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays and weekends.
• Radiologic Technologist or CT Technologist experience preferred.
• ARRT certified in Radiography; ARRT certified in CT within 18 months of hire or 24 months for Critical Access Hospital, Per Diem, or Supplemental employees.
• Appropriate state licensure from the state in which the candidate practices (if the state requires licensure).
• BLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality images for interpretation by physicians that meet the standards established by the Mayo Clinic Radiology Departments.
• Fosters teamwork through effective communication.
• Ensures high level of service to patients through proper communication, technique, and safety guidelines.
• Maintains flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times and lengths.
• Perform other functional duties as assigned to assure efficient and optimal patient care.
