Job summary

You will image patients, ensure comfort and safety, administer contrast material when required, and maintain precise records. Commitment to continuing education and adherence to ARRT/ARRT-CT standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate of an approved JRCERT program in Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum: 1+ year Radiology or CT experience.
• Preferred: 2+ years Computed Tomography experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce images using CT scanner and assist Radiologist in viewing and reconstructing images.
• Assess patient needs and provide emotional and physical comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast material safely for CT studies.
• Position patients to capture clear images.
• Observe patient condition and report changes.
• Archive examination data, maintain records, and contribute to QA/CQI.
• Follow infection control procedures and keep rooms clean.
• Supervise students as required.
• Exercise judgment to comply with policies and regulations.
• Participate in continuing education to maintain competencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
