Schedule: Full Time Days

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Poinciana ER

AdventHealth Kissimmee has expanded its tower by 3 floors and 80 beds, including new spaces such as Inpatient Rehab, Inpatient Dialysis, Laboratory, and Imaging services.

The role you’ll contribute:

Under supervision, your duties include imaging neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following specific guidelines, transmitting images for diagnosis, and updating the hospital system. You will participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships while implementing facility principles.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Perform exams using established protocols, properly identify patients, educate them about the procedure, and screen for contrast allergies.
• Complete exams efficiently, maintain workflow, and communicate with patients post-exam.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, and adapt protocols for all ages.
• Screen women of childbearing age, minimize radiation exposure, follow infection control standards, and maintain a clean, organized room. Perform vendor-required QA on CT scanners. May include handling pharmaceutical waste following proper procedures.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Technical degree in a related field
• 2+ hospital-based clinical Radiology experience
• ARRT certification
• BCLS certification
• Computed Tomography A.R.R.T. (CT) certification and state license if required, upon hire
