Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scans at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg during the night shift. The role emphasizes patient care, image quality, and adherence to radiation safety guidelines within a high-acuity hospital setting.

The candidate should have a Technical School Diploma in Radiologic Technology, CNMT/RT-CT certification, and less than 1 year CT experience, with strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Technical School Diploma in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• CNMT, RT-CT certification or eligibility.
• Less than 1 year CT experience.
• Ability to provide proper patient care during radiologic procedures.
• Knowledge of CT protocols and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures with safety for CT scanners, injectors, and monitors.
• Review images and repeat as needed for best result.
• Explain exam to patient and keep informed of progress.
• Prepare images to PACS for interpretation by a radiologist.
• Administer contrast media per protocol and monitor for reactions.
• Maintain quality control and attend mandatory department meetings.
