Schedule: FULL TIME

Location: 7465 N RONALD REAGAN BLVD, Sanford, 32773

The Role: Under general supervision, perform imaging for neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following facility guidelines. Transmit images for diagnosis, update hospital computer systems, and participate in customer service. Additional duties include maintaining statistics, managing supplies, performing advanced workstation studies, overseeing operations, teaching students, and other tasks as assigned.

The Value You Bring:

  • Perform exams using facility protocols, identify patients properly, educate patients, and screen for contrast allergies.
  • Complete exams efficiently, communicate effectively, and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Operate imaging equipment safely across all patient ages, adapting protocols as needed.
  • Screen patients of childbearing age, minimize radiation exposure, follow infection control standards, maintain equipment, perform QA, and handle pharmaceutical waste safely.
  • Review images, repeat sequences if necessary, and assist others in quality decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Technical degree in a related field
  • One year CT experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Completion of Radiologic Technology training and ARRT(R) registration
  • State license as applicable

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related discipline
  • Two years hospital-based clinical Radiology experience
