Schedule: FULL TIME

Shift: TUES-SAT: 11a-7p (40 hours)

The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth

The role you’ll contribute: Under general supervision, primary duties include imaging neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines, transmitting images for diagnosis, and updating hospital systems. The CT Technologist II also participates in maintaining customer service, managing statistics, supplies, performing advanced studies, overseeing operations, teaching students, and other tasks as assigned.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Perform all exams, including complex ones, following Facility protocols. Properly identify patients, educate them about the exam, and screen for contrast allergies.
• Complete exams efficiently, minimize wait times, and communicate effectively with patients before discharge.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, adapt protocols for all ages, and perform QA on CT scanners.
• Screen patients of childbearing age, minimize radiation exposure, practice infection control, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Review images, repeat sequences if necessary, and assist colleagues in quality decisions.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or Technical degree in a related field
• One year CT experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Completion of Radiologic Technology training and ARRT(R) registration
• State license as required

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related discipline
• Two years hospital-based clinical Radiology experience
