Job summary

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under physician direction, while educating patients and families. The role requires safe operation of imaging equipment and thorough department documentation.

The position supports night shifts with competitive hourly pay, and eligibility for a comprehensive benefits package. ARRT or CNMT certification is required or must be obtained within two years of hire.

Qualifications

• Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire.
• ARRT or CNMT is required.
• Staff within Sentara CarePlex; must obtain CT registry by 11/1/2016.
• Education: ALD Radiologic Sciences or Trade school certificate.
• Certification/Licensure: ARRT required or CNMT obtained within 2 years CT registry obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Experience: No experience in CT required new grads welcome.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for full-time employment is $38.74 - $58.21 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
