Job Description

The CT Technologist performs CT imaging according to established protocols to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by the physician. Responsibilities include understanding human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. Maintaining knowledge of radiation protection and safety is essential. Preparation and administration of contrast media are performed in accordance with hospital policy. Critical thinking, professional, and ethical judgment are vital in delivering quality care.

Minimum Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Relevant Experience (Preferred)

Licenses/Certifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
• RT(R(CT) - Registered Technologist (R)(CT) (Required) or RT(R) - Registered Technologist (R) (Required)
