Advanced Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a PRN position at our outpatient imaging center in Kokomo. Join an energetic, patient-focused team dedicated to providing quality outpatient imaging services.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the CT technologist:

1. Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional & 3-dimensional images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
2. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment according to established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
3. Serves as part of the imaging center team, providing and seeking feedback for clinical practice improvement.

Requirements

Experience

Up to 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.

Education

Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Radiology or graduation from an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification

Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography with current registration. Must hold or obtain a CT advanced registration within 12 months. Must meet state licensure requirements. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

Skills/Abilities

• Proficient in operation of CT and ancillary equipment.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Accurate and concise documentation skills.
• Understanding of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, billing systems, digital archiving, and data retrieval.
