Job summary

Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform a broad range of CT exams using advanced equipment and post-processing software. You will liaise with Radiologists and CT staff, mentor junior colleagues, and help coordinate CT operations to ensure efficient patient care.

The role requires ARRT-R, CT certification, active Illinois radiography license, and BLS CPR. A BS degree is preferred, with at least 8 years of CT experience, and involvement in CE activities.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R radiographer in good standing is required.
• R.R.T. CT certification is required.
• Active Illinois radiography license is required.
• BLS CPR certification must be maintained.
• Minimum 8 years CT experience preferred.
• Experience with CT post processing software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures for outpatients, inpatients, and ED patients.
• Serve as liaison to Radiologists, CT colleagues, students and department staff.
• Coordinate day-to-day CT department operations in absence of a Clinical Specialist.
• Mentor new CT staff and participate in orientation and training.
• Review equipment and supplies; participate in CE activities and training.
