Job summary

ChristianaCare is hiring a Full Time Flex CT Technologist I for the Concord Health Center. The role focuses on performing CT scans for outpatients, adhering to department procedures, and supporting related imaging tasks.

Responsibilities include quality control, patient history collection, scheduling support, and ensuring compliance with licensure and safety standards. This role requires ARRT registries, state licensure, CPR, and IV training, with salary discussed at posting.

Qualifications

• Completion of ARRT registry in radiologic technology (2-year program).
• Completion of ARRT registry in CT scan within 2 years of hire.
• State Licensure on Radiation Protection required.
• Associate's degree required; substitute within related field is allowed within 3 years.
• Certification in CPR.
• Yearly PEEPS certification for positioning and transfer of patients.
• IV training course completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform all phases of CT scanning for outpatients per department procedures.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Assist with clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and use two identifiers.
• Coordinate workflow and patient care activities.
• Obtain clinical history and necessary patient consent.
• Verify insurance pre-authorization per protocol.
• Support student and new staff training.
