Ideal candidates hold ARRT registries (radiologic technology and CT), state licensure, an associate degree, CPR, IV training, and PEEPS certification. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and patient care in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry in radiologic technology is required.
• ARRT CT registry must be achieved within two years of hire.
• State licensure in Radiation Protection is required.
• Associate degree (or related field) within three years of start date.
• CPR certification required.
• Yearly PEEPS certification required.
• IV training course required.
• Completion of cross sectional anatomy training.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures and quality control as defined by department guidelines.
• Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including Joint Commission requirements.
• Enters accurate patient study information into clinical care systems and supports workflow coordination.
• Assists in the learning process of students and new staff in department procedures and safety.
