Join an energetic, patient-focused team! MEDSTAR RADIOLOGY NETWORK is currently seeking an experienced MULTI-MODALITY TECHNOLOGIST for a Full-time position at our outpatient imaging center located in BRANDYWINE, MD. Hours available are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The technologist will be rotating between CT and X-ray modalities.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the CT technologist:

1. Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional & 3-dimensional images at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner.
2. Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements.
3. Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.

Requirements

Experience: Up to 5 years as a CT Technologist.

Education: Minimum Associates Degree in Radiology or completion of an accredited two-year radiology program.

License/Certification: Must be ARRT certified in Radiography with current registration. Must obtain CT advanced registration within 12 months if not already held. State licensure as required. BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

• Ability to work independently and multitask effectively.
• Accurate and concise documentation skills.
• Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of computer applications, including information systems and digital archiving.
