Join an energetic, patient-focused team! MEDSTAR RADIOLOGY NETWORK is currently seeking an experienced MULTI-MODALITY TECHNOLOGIST for a Full-time position at our outpatient imaging center located in BRANDYWINE, MD. HOURS AVAILABLE 8:30 AM TO 5 PM. The technologist will rotate between CT and X-ray modalities.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the CT technologist:

  • Performs computed tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional & 3D images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
  • Ensures safety and compliance with established guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborates with the imaging team to improve clinical practices through feedback and teamwork.

Minimum Requirements

Experience: Up to 5 years as a CT Technologist

Education: Associate's Degree in Radiology or graduation from an accredited two-year radiology program

Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification in Radiography, current registration, and CT advanced registration (must be obtained within first 12 months if not already held). State licensure as required. BLS certification within 60 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency with CT equipment and ancillary tools
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
  • Accurate documentation skills
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmacology, and medical terminology
  • Knowledge of computer systems related to imaging and billing
