40 hour per week opportunity for a qualified CT Technologist at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in NC. Come to a place where you belong and work as one to make great things happen!

Position Highlights:

  • Shift Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 2:30pm-1:00am (40 hours per week)
  • Incentive: Eligible new hire candidates can receive up to $15,000 bonus (up to $10,000 for new Technologist graduate).
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 assistance to a qualified new hire
  • Location: Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, Winston-Salem, NC

What You Will Do:

Assist the Radiologists and other staff physicians with invasive procedures, patient scheduling, clerical and image processing functions, participating in the CT call plan, managing the flow of patients and processes, and working in general diagnostic radiology when needed. Performs diagnostic radiology and CT procedures by utilizing equipment and employing techniques and procedures that are appropriate to the entire span of ages served in accordance with accepted standards of practice, and demonstrating expertise in limiting radiation exposure to patients and other members of the health care team.

What You Will Need:

  • Associate Degree from an accredited two-year AMA and ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology.
  • Must meet all required elements of competency checklists for advancement level and have 6-months experience as a registered CT Technologist.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography.
  • Current BLS Provider certification.
  • Registry eligible for CT allowed and must become registered within 12 months of hire.

Skills for Success:

  • Ability to communicate on a professional level with physicians, nurses and other ancillary professional staff when discussing procedures and patient's care
  • Ability to maintain daily schedules
  • Clinical skills to enable recognition and to function accordingly in relation to priorities of patient needs
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
  • Completes 24 hours of required continuing educations every two years
