Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist I for the Helen F. Graham Center. The role includes CT scanning, other diagnostic imaging as skills permit, and clerical duties. You may float to multiple centers within the system.

Requires ARRT radiologic technology and CT registries, state licensure, an Associate’s degree, CPR, IV training, and PEEPS certification. Salary ranges from $36.10 to $49.64 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT registry in radiologic technology is required.
• ARRT CT registry is required within two years of hire.
• State licensure in Radiation Protection is required.
• Associate’s degree required; expects AS degree within 3 years.
• CPR certification is required.
• Yearly PEEPS certification required for proper positioning.
• IV training course completion required.
• Completion of cross sectional anatomy training.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans per procedures and department protocols.
• Perform other diagnostic imaging exams as skills permit.
• Handle clerical and scheduling duties as needed.
• Enter accurate patient study information into care systems.
• Assist in coordinating workflow and patient care activities.
• Provide guidance to students and new staff in procedures and safety.
