Job Description

Position Details

As a full-time CT Technologist I at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with alternating weekends. Under supervision, you will operate computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images for diagnosis, interpret physician instructions, administer contrast, prepare equipment, position patients, and send images for interpretation.

Essential Duties:

• Interpret physician’s scanning instructions accurately
• Administer contrast material
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
• Position patients to capture appropriate images
• Send images to Radiologist for interpretation
• Clean and disinfect patient rooms
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program required

Licensure/Certifications:

• ARRT-R certification required
• California CRT certification required
• ARRT-CT certification preferred
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years as a CT Technologist preferred
• Applicants with 2+ years may be considered for CT Tech II
