Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, assess image quality, and ensure patient safety. The role includes contrast administration and collaboration with care teams to support accurate diagnoses.

The position requires ARRT CT certification within 9 months, NJ Diagnostic Radiology license, and BLS. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for qualifying full-time shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CT procedures.
• Evaluates radiographs for proper identification and diagnostic value.
• Preps patient and ensures safety protocols.
• Assists with CT guided interventional procedures.
• Performs contrast administration following protocol.
• Provides explanations and addresses patient questions.
• Monitors and documents patient condition during procedures.
• Reviews images for additional scans if needed.
• Archives images and documents data in records.
• Lifts/positions patients and adheres to infection control guidelines.
• On-call and overtime as needed.
• Lifts burden on equipment and daily clerical tasks using EPIC, PACS, and related systems.
