Job summary

EvergreenHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under a physician's prescription, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

The role requires WA State Radiologic Technologist licensure, ARRT CT registry eligibility within 45 days, and BLS certification by start date. Prior radiology experience is preferred; duties include patient prep, contrast administration, and image evaluation.

Qualifications

• WA State Radiologic Technologist licensure required.
• ARRT registry eligible; must obtain ARRT CT registration within one year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex CT scan examinations and procedures, including injecting contrast under Radiologist supervision.
• Sets and adjusts CT scanner parameters to produce high-quality images.
• Assesses patient size and condition to perform CT examinations accurately.
• Communicates procedure details to patients and maintains dignity and privacy.
• Handles calls, greets patients, obtains history, and prepares for scans.
• Obtains lab work and patient information in Cerner; schedules exams in the imaging queue.
• Updates patient status in the RIS and completes exam processes.

Education

WA State Radiologic Technologist licensure

ARRT registry eligible / ARRT CT registration within 1 year

Current Healthcare Provider BLS – AHA
