Job description

Job Summary: $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I. We are also considering candidates for higher levels, including CT Technologist II, based on skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply.

Under general supervision of the Radiologist, performs CT procedures to acquire digital images for diagnosis and treatment. Plans and executes all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology, based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and protocols. Ensures protocols adhere to guidelines, and the CT scanner's integration into dose management programs that notify when preset dose levels are exceeded.

Job Duties
  1. Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems to acquire images for radiologists.
  2. Maintain knowledge to operate different CT systems across multiple locations.
  3. Follow protocols based on Image Gently Guidelines and dose management systems.
  4. Understand clinical histories to match appropriate protocols; possess knowledge of major organ and vascular systems.
  5. Obtain CT images according to established protocols, ensuring proper patient preparation, positioning, immobilization, and shielding.
  6. Perform CT interventional procedures and advanced CTA imaging, including TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac imaging.
  7. Maintain knowledge of pharmacology to ensure lab results are obtained prior to exams.
  8. Apply knowledge of physiology and physics to produce quality scans and minimize patient dose.
  9. Interpret technical factors to optimize scan quality and efficiency.

Work is performed in a clinical environment. Must comply with organizational policies and demonstrate essential competencies outlined during department-specific orientation.
