Job Summary $10,000 sign on bonus for eligible applicants!! This posting reflects an opening for a CT Technologist I, and we are seeking candidates for that position. Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists are responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, acquire and analyze data for diagnosis, interpretation, and assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. CT Technologists independently perform or assist licensed practitioners in completing computed tomography. They prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, and institutional policies.

Job Duties

1. Ensure correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for the exam, and clinical history is corroborated and documented while respecting confidentiality.
2. Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, maximize patient safety, and apply ALARA principles.
3. Prepare and/or administer medications through vascular access sites as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
4. Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality; verify archival storage and transfer of data; post-process data if applicable.
5. Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers.
6. Assist licensed practitioners with interventional CT procedures.
7. Perform CT procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.

Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. The role requires compliance with all organizational policies and procedures. Additional department-specific competencies and skills will be considered essential.

Position Details

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R or NMTCB certification prior to first day.
• Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps for advancement to level 2 within 24 months, including obtaining advanced certification.
