Job summary

UCHealth Woodmen ED in Colorado Springs is seeking a CT Technologist on a PRN schedule (0.0 hours per pay period) for day shifts. You will review patient history, perform CT imaging per physician orders, administer contrast, monitor patient condition and ensure high image quality.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT CT certification, RT registration, and BLS certification. State licensure as required by law may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• ARRT Computed Tomography (CT) certification.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registry eligible with completion within 12 months.
• State licensure if required by law.
• BLS Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and initiates CT images per physician order.
• Safely administers contrast media and monitors patient condition.
• Responds to changes in patient condition as appropriate.
• Implements techniques to yield clear images and maintain quality control per best practices in Radiology (AART).
• May perform 3-D post processing and report scan results.
