Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a skilled CT Technologist to join our radiology department. The role requires a strong technical background, patient-centered care, and teamwork to deliver high-quality imaging services.

The candidate must have an associate degree, current BLS, NMCT license, and ARRT-CT certification; a provisional NM CT license pathway is available for eligible applicants. This position supports varied shifts and uses EPIC charting system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for CT technologist role.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NM CT license and ARRT-CT certification required; may include provisional license with path to full licensure.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes clinical reasoning for managing CT imaging per guidelines.
• Advocates for patients and escalates concerns to leadership as needed.
• Creates a compassionate environment and documents events to ensure patient comfort.
• Educates patients before scanning and answers questions about the procedure.
• Promotes optimal exam flow through coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
• Performs safety checks, verifies orders, and ensures right patient/right exam/right order.
• Performs other clinic duties as assigned.
