Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT scans, ensuring high image quality and patient care. You will coordinate patient flow, manage PACS/Meditech documentation, and uphold ALARA principles in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with physicians and radiologists to provide accurate, timely imaging and exceptional patient service.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
• 1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams following established protocols in a timely manner.
• Prepare procedure trays, start IVs for contrast administration, and utilize the power injector.
• Gather patient history, signs, and symptoms to provide radiologists with necessary clinical context.
• Support department quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) initiatives while adhering to ICARE values.
• Comply with quarterly targeted metrics and maintain all required licenses and accreditations.
• Contribute to the department's after-hour coverage through a collaborative on-call shift rotation.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the diagnostic imaging team.
