Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate CT equipment, perform cross-sectional imaging and additional radiographic procedures for diverse patient populations. The role requires ARRT licensure and BLS, with a preference for CT certification and a state fluoroscopy license.
You will work within a comprehensive imaging team, maintain patient records in PACS, and ensure compliance with HIPAA while providing high-quality patient care.
In the heart of The Dalles, Oregon, Adventist Health Columbia Gorge has served the Columbia River Gorge community since 1901. We are comprised of a 49-bed hospital, various medical offices, home health, a birthing center and a vast scope of services located throughout The Dalles and the surrounding areas. Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by OFNHP.
Education and Work Experience:Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): RequiredAdvanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CABasic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and ORVenipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric.Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.Maintains accurate records, files and billing information. Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
