Job summary

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, OR is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT, radiography, and fluoroscopy procedures with a patient-centered approach. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure image quality, and transfer data via PACS and teleradiology systems, while maintaining patient privacy and accurate records.

The role requires ARRT CT certification and BLS, with preferred CT advanced certification and state licenses as applicable.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license preferred in CA and OR.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients from adolescence through geriatric.
• Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
• Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location.
• Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
• Ensures the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment, producing cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs and tissue that are used to diagnose medical conditions. Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. This position is represented by OFNHP.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required
• Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR
• Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
