Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina, is seeking a CT Technologist for a full-time Tue-Thu, 7am-7pm schedule. The role involves radiological procedures, patient prep, image acquisition, and coordination with Radiologists in a high-volume CT department.

Qualifications

• BLS certification, or obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Current South Carolina license in Radiation Quality Standards and RT registration.
• CT experience in a clinical setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares room, equipment, contrast media and materials as needed for procedures.
• Maintains clean and stocked CT procedure room daily.
• Properly warms CT equipment daily and ensures it is functioning.
• Assists Radiologists during procedures and takes scans as requested.
• Sends images to PACS and verifies availability for interpretation in a timely manner.
• Rotates to other imaging departments as needed; participates in on-call rotation.
