Job Description

CT Technologists are responsible for:

1. Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient histories.
2. Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including room preparation as needed.
3. Entering patient and exam data accurately into the Radiology Information System.

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the CT Technologist operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic images for procedures. Qualifications include:

• 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
• Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
• ARRT certification required.

Schedule Information and Requirements:

• Shifts are from 7 am to 7:30 pm or 7 pm to 7:30 am.
• Rotation of weekends every third week, with a Monday work requirement (consider whether to include Monday in the posting).
• Self-scheduled shifts, with 2 Fridays required in a 6-week period.
• On-call shifts are self-scheduled, covering all locations for 3-4 shifts in 6 weeks.
• Staff must work 2 holidays per year, with on-call holidays assigned by leadership.
• Training at all locations and on all scanners is mandatory.
