Job Description

CT Technologists are responsible for:

  1. Explaining radiographic procedures to patients and collecting accurate patient histories.
  2. Performing clinical diagnostic examinations, including room preparation.
  3. Entering patient and exam data into the Radiology Information System accurately.
  4. Operating CT equipment under the direction of a Radiologist to produce diagnostic and interventional CT images.

Qualifications include:

  • 1-3 months of experience and/or training required.
  • Satisfactory formal training in an approved program.
  • ARRT certification required.
