Location: Voorhees - 100 Bowman Drive

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Shift: 2nd Shift (United States of America)

Total Weekly Hours: 36

Sign-on Bonus: $10,000 for new hires with a two-year commitment

Summary

Performs CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and techniques. Participates in divisional rotation (Voorhees, Marlton, Berlin) when employed by Virtua South.

Position Responsibilities
  1. Perform high-quality CT scans according to radiologist-established protocols, demonstrating knowledge of routine and non-routine exams, and applying principles based on patient age, habitus, and disease process.
  2. Utilize all CT equipment and film properly, taking appropriate actions for service calls. Effectively use RIS, PACS, Web Viewer, ADW workstation, and other hospital systems.
  3. Provide accurate documentation, obtain pertinent medical information prior to procedures, and review physician’s orders.
  4. Administer IV contrast safely, including catheter insertion, prepare patients according to protocols, and assist during interventional CT procedures.
  5. Provide emergency on-call services as needed and assist in training new CT technologists.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in CT preferred.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
  • Certification with ARRT; NJ DEP licensure required.
  • Advanced ARRT certification in CT preferred; if not certified, must obtain within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification required.
