Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to perform CT procedures, provide patient care, and assist physicians during scans in a full-time day shift at our California imaging department.

The ideal candidate holds a CA CRT, ARRT CT, ARRT Radiography, CPR, venipuncture certification, and recent CT experience; hospital setting experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• California CRT certification (State of CA) required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required; CT certification required.
• Venipuncture certification and competency demonstrated within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Recent CT experience required; acute care experience preferred.
• Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform CT exams independently; coordinate with radiologists.

Job description

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Reporting to the Manager, Imaging Services, Radiology Administration, this position is responsible for performing CT procedures, providing patient care and physician assistance during the performance of those procedures.

Requirements

1. 1. High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
2. 2. Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology is required.
3. 3. Valid California Radiology Tech (CRT) certification from the State of California is required.
4. 4. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
5. 5. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) is required; advanced ARRT certification in (CT) also is required.
6. 6. Proof of venipuncture certification is required. Venipuncture competency must also be demonstrated and documented by the supervisor or his/her proxy within thirty (30) days of hire or transfer into position.
7. 7. Recent experience in CT is required, experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
8. 8. Ability to operate all CT equipment and perform all CT examinations independently (e.g., be able to protocol them or work in conjunction with the radiologist) is required.
9. 9. Must be seen as a resource throughout SAMC and be willing to actively participate on Hospital/Department committees as assigned.
10. 10. Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers and demonstrate excellent customer service orientation is required.

Pay Range $41.19 - $65.41 May be adjusted based on Career Ladder placement
