Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT exams with the highest image quality while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Imaging all vasculature and organ systems with careful radiation exposure control and contrast administration as needed. Must have CA CRT and ARRT CT, 3 years in acute radiography and 1 year CT experience. Day shift in Whittier, CA with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• California CRT license required.
• ARRT CT certification required.
• Venipuncture certification or training.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Three years of diagnostic radiography experience in an acute care facility.
• One year of CT experience in an acute care setting.
• Fluoroscopy certification is a plus.

Performs computed tomography exams and procedures with maximal image quality, patient safety and comfort while maintaining the lowest possible radiation exposure. Exams and procedures include all parts of the vasculature structures and organ systems.

Required Experience

Required:

• State of California CRT
• ARRT certification in CT
• Venipuncture certification and/or documentation of training
• CPR/BLS
• Clinical training – Three (3) years’ experience in diagnostic radiography in an acute care facility
• One (1) year in a CT setting of an acute care facility

Preferred:

• Three (3) years’ experience scanning in CT in an acute care facility
• Fluoroscopy certification
